17 months

Logan,

You are 17 months old.  You are growing and changing so much every day.  You seem to be getting taller and heavier, but I don't have any official measurements.  We will next month though!

This month you...

- are learning so many new words.  It seems like you know a new one every day.  You can say the puppies names now, but not perfectly - Bear is "Bee" and Cooper is "Pooper" - which is quite hilarious in my opinion.

- know most of your colors and some of your shapes.

- get so proud of yourself when you learn or do something new, especially when someone else notices.

- are getting better at using a fork to eat.  You still prefer your hands, but lately you've been trying more and more to use the fork without anyone prompting you.

- know where your eyes, ears, nose, mouth, head, hair, feet, hands, tummy, belly button, bottom & knees are.

- now like to eat cold cheese.  You wouldn't have anything to do with it before.  The only way you would eat it was if it was melted into something.  One day, I was eating some, you asked for some and actually ate it (you had asked before, but never would eat it, or would spit it out).  You asked for more, and have been eating it ever since.

- love when the puppies come in your room when you wake up either in the morning or from a nap.  Usually it is just Cooper though, so you always call Bear until he comes.  It is so cute!

- never let us forget to give the puppies their treats when they have to go in their crates.  You will say "treat" over and over until we give you some to give to them.

- call the camera "cheese."  I guess we've said it so much trying to get pictures of you, that you think that is what it is called.  Ha!

You are such a sweet boy, and I love watching you as you are growing and learning new things.  I, of course, think you are so smart, handsome, fun, and just plain cute!  I love you so much!!
