God gives us bundles of blessings every day. Some are big like a sweet baby boy (our bundle of joy). Some are small so we don't always recognize them all. Looking for bundles of blessings each day!
We went to Austin today to see Uncle Moose & Aunt Mere, and also to meet Logan's new "cousin" Teddy. He's quite furry and cute! I think it's safe to say that Logan loves him! I will do a more detailed post about the whole weekend at the end of the weekend, but here's a couple shots of the 2 cuties.
We went over to Grandma & Papas today to see Aunt Marmar and Maryellen while they were in town for a little bit. Grandma is out of town, but Papa took Logan swimming for a little bit. Logan also got to love on Punky and had lots of kisses to go around :)
I finally decided to let go of my need to control the mess of allowing Logan to completely feed himself. I let him try cheerios with milk today, and he did great! I was so impressed :)
So cute! Daddy had laid down on the floor, so Logan decided to join him. I'm pretty sure he's going to want to be just like Daddy as he gets older (well, maybe not once he's a teenager, but who knows! Ha!).
Logan loves the bear Mimi (Brandon's grandma) gave him . He plays with it all the time, often has to take it with us when we leave, and sleeps with it every night.
Today, he was pushing him around on his push too. Too cute!
He even fell asleep holding it! It's kind of hard to see since I had to take a picture of the monitor, but if you look closely, you can tell he has his arm around it. He had not been asleep long enough for me to take a picture without waking him otherwise I would have gone in his room to get a better shot. So sweet!
Gigi came this afternoon to help me with Logan because I had a big cookie order. I think they had a pretty good time. Logan enjoyed Gigi's i-phone, giving Gigi shots, and stealing her money ;-)
Today we went to see Grandma because she's about to go out of town for almost a month. He got to play with Pumpkin and go swimming with Grandma.
Logan also sat on the potty for the first time! He said that he peepee'd, so I asked if he wanted to sit on the potty. He indicated that he did, so I put him on. He sat for a good while and "tried" but of course nothing happened since he had just gone, but hey, it's a start!
Logan has started saying his prayers (thanks to Papa for helping teach him). Here is is saying Grace at dinner (technically during dinner). He often likes to say prayers more than once throughout the course of the meal :)
I am a child of God, wife to a wonderful husband, mother to the sweetest little boy & girl, daughter to the best parents and parents-in-law, sister, and friend. I was (still am at heart) a kindergarten teacher, but now I am a domestic engineer (fancy word for stay-at-home-mom) with a slight (or not so slight) obsession with making & decorating cookies. I am also the proudest member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2006! Whoop!!
