Logan,
You are 15 months old! You weighed 25 pounds 1.5 ounces at your doctors appointment. You were 32 1/2 inches long - getting so tall! You wouldn't know it by the picture, but you are actually sick on your birthday! You had your very first fever yesterday, and today we discovered that you have hand, foot, and mouth disease. Poor baby!
This month you...
- are saying even more words! You like to tell the dogs "no, no" when they fight too much. You also started saying "up", but you whisper it when you say it for some reason. You are getting better at your grandparent's names. Papa and Poppy are still the same and most of the time you still whisper those as well. You can say Gigi pretty good now, and when you say Grandma you say "Googoo." I'm sure that won't stick though - we'll keep working on it :)
- are such a big climber. You use your stool to help you climb on the couches and then climb up the back/armrests as well if you are trying to get something. You also love to use the cedar chest in Mommy & Daddy's room to climb on the bed. You are VERY fast at that now.
- are liking some new/different foods. You seem to LOVE tomatoes. One day when I was out of veggies, I happened to have a can of diced tomatoes, so I thought I'd try them since I knew you liked spaghetti sauce. Sure enough you have loved them, and can't seem to get enough. You also love eating grapes (cut up). That has been a popular fruit this month. Animal crackers are your new favorite snack. We also found out that you cannot have strawberries, at least for a while. You broke out in a rash and had some yucky diapers after we tried them for the first time.
- have decided you no longer like yogurt, and turn your head any time I try to give you some. I'm not sure what happened.
- know where your eyes, ears, nose, mouth and head/hair are. You have known most for a while, but you are much more consistent with knowing where they are now.
- are such a big helper. You like to help Mommy with the laundry, picking up trash, throwing things away, and really anything that I ask as long as it's something you can understand. You also really like to help Daddy feed the puppies. So cute!
- love playing with your shape sorter & Legos. You are getting so much better at figuring out where the shapes go, and you doing better at getting the Legos to fit together.
- love spending time outside. You are discovering all sorts of new things - like rolly pollys, acorns, etc. You probably think it's the greatest place to be!
I feel like I've done a terrible job this month of documenting all the new things you are doing, but you are definitely growing, changing, and learning new things all the time. It is hard to keep up! I am so glad that God let me be your mommy and I love you so very much!
Love,
